Media Release - Heavy Haulage Bypass Corridor Further Drop In Session

Stakeholder and community engagement focusing on the York Bypass/ Heavy haulage Corridor Planning Study will be undertaken in 2017.

The study is required to plan road infrastructure to meet future residential development and industrial planning, as well as heavy vehicle, tourist and local traffic needs of the future.

The Shire of York, Main Roads and the Wheatbelt Development Commission have formed a working group  to oversee the study  and ensure residents, businesses and community members can provide meaningful input into the study.

A second informal drop in session is offered for general comments or ask questions about the study process.
