At the Ordinary Council Meeting held 27 February 2017, Council considered the Review of the York Recreation and Convention Centre Discussion Paper. Council agreed to undertake site visits to other recreation centres within the region to inform its decision making regarding the YRCC.
Councillors, staff and users of the YRCC will use the community bus to visit Goomalling, Kellerberrin, Merredin, Katanning and Narrogin. Other people interested in joining the visits are encouraged to contact Tamara Hooper at the Shire Office on 9641 2233.
The visits will take place on 15 & 29 March 2017 departing at 7.30am and returning at 6.00pm.
Please note: the date of the second visit has changed due to a local funeral being held on the previous date.
