January 8th     The Silver Brumby 1992 Australian Family Drama

The film revolves around the adventures of a magnificent and wild silver stallion who roams the countryside and who claims the attention of Darcy (Crowe) - "The Man" - who wants to capture him. 

February 26th             The Edukators 2004 German Drama Romance

Berlin student Jule is hopelessly indebted due to an accident she caused, uninsured hitting a rich businessman's limousine. Evicted from her flat she moves in with her boyfriend Peter and soon learns that Peter and his flatmate, Jan, are breaking into luxurious mansions at night.

March 12th      The Nugget 2002 Australian Comedy

The Nugget' is a tale about a group of three road workers who stumble upon the world's biggest nugget, and become instant millionaires - or so they think. 

April 9th          Mad Detective  2007 Hong Kong Crime Mystery

The movie is about Detective Bun, a clinically insane detective who had hyper-eccentric methods of solving crimes. He has a supernatural gift of seeing a person's 'inner personality', allowing him to see the true nature of the person rather than just the outward mask.

May 14th          He Died with a Felafel in his Hand 2001 Australian Comedy Romance

A search for love, meaning and bathroom solitude. Danny goes through a series of shared housing experiences in a succession of cities on the east coast of Australia.

June11th         Greetings from Fukushima 2016 German Japanese Drama

A young German woman bonds with an elderly Japanese woman while touring the Fukushima region of Japan in the aftermath of the 2011 earthquake.

July 9th            Kangaroo 1986 Australian Drama

A mild-mannered English conscientious objector moves to what he feels will be the relative calm of Australia after World War I, but gets caught in the middle of violent battles between the rising trade unions and fascist groups.

August 13th     Grave Decisions 2006 German Comedy Drama

 One day, Sebastian learns that his mother died on his birthday, which makes him believe he was to blame for her death. Dreaming of purgatory, Sebastian sees only two ways to avoid this divine punishment: becoming an immortal rock star or find a new wife for his father.

September 10th            Excuse My Dust 1951 USA Comedy Musical

Joe, an inventor, in an American small town of 1895 has problems with his new invention, a car, driven with a gasoline motor. Everybody is making fun about his "crazy invention", only his girlfriend believes in him.

October 8th      Jindabyne 2006 Australian Drama Crime Mystery

After four men on a fishing trip discover a dead body in the water, they choose to delay reporting it and continue fishing. This is an intriguing, evocative and multi-layered film superbly acted and wonderfully filmed.

November 12th            Phoenix  2014  German Drama

In the aftermath of WWII, Nelly, a Jewish survivor of the Auschwitz concentration camp, horribly disfigured from a bullet wound in her face, undergoes a series of facial reconstruction surgeries and decides to find her husband Johnny who works at the Phoenix club in Berlin.
