The community consultation period for the Shire's Rebranding closes on Wednesday 14 October 2020, and the community is invited to contribute their views.
The Shire of York does not currently have a consistent and comprehensive brand. The Shire’s logo dates back to the early 1900s and Council feel it does not adequately reflect the current vision and objectives for the Shire of York.
With a major review of the Strategic Community Plan being undertaken this year, Council deemed it appropriate to consider updating the Shire’s branding to reflect the community’s reviewed vision and the organisation’s growing status as a contemporary, responsive and professional local government authority.
