Shire of York Local Government Elections Candidate Information Evening
5.00pm Monday 2 September 2019
Local Government elections will be held on Saturday 19 October this year, with four positions on the York Shire Council to be filled.
Nominations to run for Council are open from 5-12 September 2019.
This Shire of York is hosting an information session for anyone wanting to find out about becoming a Shire Councillor.
An Officer from the Western Australian Electoral Commission will be conducting a Candidate Information Session on Monday 2 September 2019 in the York Lesser Hall at 5.00pm.
The information session is designed to provide the necessary process arrangements for prospective candidates for the 2019 Council Election.
Attendance at the session is voluntary.
Advertisements calling for nominations will appear in local papers and the West Australian on Wednesday 28 August 2019 or near that date.
