SHIRE OF YORK APPOINTS A

NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
 

Shire President, Cr Denese Smythe is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Chris Linnell as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Linnell replaces Mr Paul Martin who left the Shire of York in September.

Mr Linnell is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Shire of Morawa a position he has held for just over two years and he has over 19 years’ experience in the Local Government industry.

“Mr Linnell’s experience and knowledge will be a great asset to the Shire and I have no doubt that he will provide great leadership for staff and forge a strong partnership with the Council and the Community” Cr Smythe said.

It is anticipated that Mr Linnell will commence mid-February, 2020.
