PROPOSED FINANCE POLICY F1.7 CONCESSIONS ON COMMERCIAL AND FARMING PROPERTIES OCCUPIED BY PENSIONERS/SENIORS
At the ordinary Council Meeting held on 22 May 2017 Council considered a proposed finance policy relating to how rebates are calculated on properties with a curtilage.
This policy is in accordance with section 28(2) of the Rates and Charges (Rebates and Deferments) Act 1992 to ensure consistency and fairness across all eligible ratepayers.
Prior to adoption the Shire is seeking public comment regarding the proposed policy.
