Shire welcomes new Executive Manager Infrastructure & Development Services

The Shire has appointed Sinead McGuire to the position of Executive Manager Infrastructure & Development Services.  Ms McGuire starts on Monday 26 July.

Sinead McGuire has previous experience with Local Government Authorities including City of Swan and Shire of East Pilbara.  She has managed Public Open Spaces projects including the delivery of a sporting fields, pavilions, playspaces, carparks, drainage and wetlands for an accumulative value over $30 million dollars.

In the private sector, Ms Mcguire was responsible for successful tender submissions for high profile projects in some of Perth's most prestigious buildings including the Government House Roof Replacement, Rottenest Island Sea Wall and the Gledden Building facade upgrades.

CEO Chris Linnell says ‘I am very pleased to bring Sinead onboard. She has a relevant skillset and will be a valuable member of the organisation and an asset to the York community’.

Ms McGuire will oversee the management of the Shire’s Infrastructure & Development Services in accordance with statutory requirements and Council policy. The Executive Manager Infrastructure and Development Services is one of two senior executive positions reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. A key focus of this position is project management and the local roads civil construction and maintenance program.
