Published on Friday, 24 March 2017 at 12:00:00 AM

Contractors for nbn have commenced construction of the nbn network in York town centre to connect almost 2000 homes and business premises to the nbn fixed line network.

nbn contractors will be boring and digging trenches, as well as installing new pits, constructing cabinets, hauling, splicing and testing fibre cables.

The Shire is advised that large areas of the Shire have access to the nbn™ through the fixed wireless and Sky Muster satellite technologies.
