AVON TERRACE REVITALISATION GRANTS
One of the priority outcomes contained in the Shire’s Strategic Community Plan is ensuring York’s main street looks prosperous and cared for at all times. The 2016/17 budget includes $10,000 for supporting improvements to the appearance of the Avon Terrace commercial area. Up to $2,000 per business will be provided to undertake works which will improve the visual amenity of the main street. The grant amount is required to be matched by the applicant.
Applicants will be required to provide an expenditure report detailing how funds were spent, potential benefits gained from the grant funds and provide copies of receipts of expenditure. Works need to be completed within 12 months of the funding approval.
An application form is available electronically (see link below) or from the front counter at the Shire office. Applications can be submitted to records@york.wa.gov.au, by hand to the Shire office front counter or mailed to Shire of York, PO Box 22, York, WA, 6302.
Applications close at 4.30pm on Friday 5 May 2017.
