The Wheatbelt Development Commission provided funding to the Shire of York who engaged Main Roads WA to identify a route corridor for a future potential Bypass/Heavy Haulage Route for York. Subsequent public consultation in 2017 confirmed the community recognised the need for a heavy haulage future bypass.
The draft final report is available to view for a 4 week period from 2 June here and will be advertised through the Shire’s Social Media channel and on community notice boards.
