Community Citizen of the Year Awards
Nominations for the 2024 Australia Day Awards open Friday 1 September 2023. If you know an individual or a group who has achieved some great things in the last twelve months we encourage you to nominate them and recognise their outstanding achievement! The Awards will be presented as part of the 2024 Australia Day event to be held on Friday 26 January 2024.
Nominations through Auspire for the Community Citizen of the Year Awards can be completed online or by downloading the Individual Category Nomination Form or the Active Citizenship Nomination Form - simply tick the category you wish to nominate in the top left hand corner.
The Award categories include:
- Community Citizen of the Year
- Young Community Citizen of the Year
- Senior Community Citizen of the Year
- Active Citizenship (group or event)
Outstanding contribution and community service for the Auspire Awards includes areas such as education, health, fund-raising, charitable and voluntary services, business, arts, the environment, social inclusion or any other area that contributes to the advancement and wellbeing of our community.
Junior and Senior Sports Star of the Year Award
The Junior and Senior Sports Star of the Year Awards are supported by Bendigo Bank, Belgravia Leisure and the Shire of York. Please nominate your club star!

Nominations for all awards must be received by Tuesday 31 October 2023 to be eligible for consideration.
