Roads

The Shire of York has a road network of over 820 km, including 320km of sealed roads and 500km of unsealed roads.

All journeys start and finish on a local road so the management of the  road network is a major part of the Shire’s operations.

An annual works program is informed by the Annual Budget with the aim of providing a safe and functional road network.
