Greenhills Inn - Short and Curly Music Event

Steve 'Short' Packer and Karen 'Curly' Hunt live in the beautiful, historic rural town of Bridgetown, in southern Western Australia (WA).

Their distinctive live sound is comprised of Curly's semi-acoustic guitars (Maton, Taylor), Short's harmonicas and their two voices, individually and in harmony.

The describe themselves as country/blues/folk, and they blend and bend those styles to have one of their own. With the songs they write and choose to cover, they also draw on pop, rock, reggae, rhythm 'n' blues...

At full gigs, we usually play about one-third original songs and two-thirds covers. It all comes out 'Short & Curly'.

Their primary aim is to 'serve the song' to the best of our ability. They consider it a privilege to play for anyone who wants to listen.
