Our York Residency Museum Turns 50 on Saturday August 27th and the Shire is celebrating with a free community event at 5 Brook Street between 10am and 4pm.
This is a very special day for York residents who have supported and enjoyed our museum over the years – and a big shout out to our loyal volunteers!
Please come and help us celebrate.
What to expect :
Welcome to Country at 10am
Followed by Stilt walking Gumnut Blossom - have your photo taken with our beautiful native flower
Jazz divas midday – lunchtime concert with Ali Bodycoat and Libby Hammer
And Libby will be back to entertain the Kids with a concert just for them at 2.30
Museum open with free entry all day
Free cupcakes from Duchess of York throughout the day and coffee van onsite with free coffee and hot chocolates, more kids activities to discover on arrival and kids try to find the new Tiny Door!
Lunch hampers available to purchase from Bellissimo Café - pre order from them for the lunchtime concert
Onsite parking – please ignore “road closure and local traffic only” signs and come through to our top carpark.
