The Shire has scheduled further community engagement sessions to attract feedback from as many people as possible. Thank you to all who have contributed so far, we are pleased that so many people have joined in the conversation.
We will be at the following locations:
- GREENHILLS Wednesday 13 July from 4 to 6 pm at Greenhills Inn
- LATE WORKERS Wednesday 13 July from 7 to 8.30 pm at York Town Hall
- BREAKFAST Thursday 14 July from 7 to 9am at York Town Hall
Topics to be discussed include:
Avon Terrace and Central Business District Revitalisation
We are in the very early stages of planning for a revitalisation of the Central Business District and Avon Terrace. We are seeking community views on what works, what doesn’t, and how we can enhance and revitalise our town centre. Give your views here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CBDYORK
Community Engagement
We have been reviewing our community engagement processes and we would love to hear your views on how best we can get messages to and receive messages from the community. You can complete the short survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LBLTJ2K
York Swimming Pool
Another project in the early planning stages with your input needed. As Council plans for a new swimming pool, we need to know what is important when planning the new facility? Please complete our short survey here (whether you use the pool or not!). https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/yorkpool
Light refreshments will be provided for all sessions – please register your attendance so we can plan appropriately.
PLEASE REGISTER HERE https://www.york.wa.gov.au/forms/have-your-say-day-round-ii-registration/21 or email records@york.wa.gov.au or phone us on 9641 0500.
If you couldn’t make the previous sessions because they were during work hours, we hope these options are more convenient for you and we look forward to seeing you there.
