The Shire of York has been advised that the York Gym will be listed as an exposure site on the WA Public Health website – Healthy WA. A person who tested positive attended the gym from 9.00pm to 10.00pm on Friday 25 February 2022.
WA Public Health has advised the YRCC Manager that no action is required. However, the Manager immediately implemented additional cleaning and disinfecting of all touch points at the gym.
The Gym remains open, and users are reminded of the importance of checking in and maintaining personal hygiene regimes. Please refer to the Healthy WA website for exposure site information.
The Shire of York urges the community to heed the advice of the Department of Health.
