Age Friendly Strategy and Action Plan
Overview
The Shire’s Age Friendly Strategy and Action Plan is designed to create a supportive and inclusive community where older residents can thrive. It provides a clear vision and structured approach to achieving key priorities that enhance the well-being of seniors in York.
The Strategy sets the overall direction, identifying long-term goals to improve accessibility, social connection, and quality of life. The Action Plan transforms these objectives into practical steps, outlining specific initiatives, timelines, and responsibilities to ensure meaningful outcomes. Together, they serve as a roadmap for an age-friendly community and delivering real, positive change.
