The order of business for the meeting will be to accept the 2024/25 Annual Report and any other general business.

The Annual Electors Meeting is an opportunity for Council to present the 2024/25 Annual Report and for members of the public to ask any questions about the Report and Shire activities for the previous financial year.

To ensure the most accurate and informed responses can be provided to your questions, please submit your question(s) in writing by no later than Friday 30 January 2026.  Questions can be emailed to records@york.wa.gov.au (preferred), posted to PO Box 22, York WA 6302 or hand delivered to the Shire Administration Office at 1 Joaquina Street, York.

Special Council Meeting - Recruitment of a Senior Officer - Executive Manager Infrastructure & Development Services

In accordance with Section 5.5(2) of the Local Government Act 1995 notice is hereby given that a Special Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 27 January 2026 in the Council Chambers, First Floor York Town Hall, Joaquina Street, York commencing at 4.00pm.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider the:

1. Appointment of a Senior Officer - Executive Manager Infrastructure & Development Services

The meeting will be closed to the public during consideration of the report in accordance with Sections 5.23(a) and (c) the Local Government Act 1995 as it deals with a matter affecting an employee and a contract which may be entered into by the local government.

Special Council Meeting - 13 January 2026 - CEO Recruitment Process

A Special Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 13 January 2026 in the Council Chambers, First Floor York Town Hall, Joaquina Street, York commencing at 3.30pm.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider the:

1. Appointment of the Independent Member to the CEO Selection Panel
2. Appointment of HR Facilitator – RFQ10-2526 – Provision of Consultancy Services to Facilitate the Recruitment and Selection of a Chief Executive Officer

The meeting will be closed to the public during consideration of those reports in accordance with Sections 5.23(a) and (c) of the Local Government Act 1995 as it deals with the personal affairs of any person (Item 8.1) and a contract which may be entered into by the local government (Item 8.2).
