20+ years ago, a Car Rally was a regular fundraising activity for Quairading locals - so we're bringing it back!
Starting Point: Quairading CRC Car Park
Finish Point: The Quairading Hotel
From 12:00 pm, teams will leave the starting point in 5 minute delays. A clue will be handed out as you depart which will help guide you to your next stop. At each stop there will be activities and challenges to complete, or answers to find, before receiving your next clue (The Amazing Race style!). There will be lifelines and bribery opportunities throughout if you struggle with the slightly cryptic clues that will certainly rely on a bit of local knowledge!
This "rally" is not timed, is not a race and is certainly not too serious - just some good fun, a great family afternoon out and an opportunity to learn about the area you live in.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
$40 entry fee per vehicle, payable at time of registration
Limit 26 vehicles in car rally
No maximum or minimum number of team members per team (limited only by number of legal seats in your vehicle)
All road rules must be adhered to at all times
Some activities can only be completed by a person who has consumed no alcohol
Rolling start times from 12:00 PM
Estimated finish time by 5:00 PM
Presentations at The Quairading Hotel from 6:00 PM
Teams to pack sufficient snacks, water and rubbish bags
All team members agree to behave safely, respectfully and lawfully at all times.
