Community Citizen of the Year Awards

Nominations for the 2023 Australia Day Awards open Thursday 1 September 2022. If you know an individual or a group who has achieved some great things in the last twelve months we encourage you to nominate them and recognise their outstanding achievement!  The Awards will be presented as part of the 2023 Australia Day event to be held on Thursday 26 January 2023.

Nominations through Auspire for the Community Citizen of the Year Awards can be completed online  or by downloading the nomination form - simply tick the category you wish to nominate in the top left hand corner.

The Award categories include:

  • Community Citizen of the Year
  • Young Community Citizen of the Year
  • Senior Community Citizen of the Year
  • Active Citizenship (group or event)

Outstanding contribution and community service for the Auspire Awards includes areas such as education, health, fund-raising, charitable and voluntary services, business, arts, the environment, social inclusion or any other area that contributes to the advancement and wellbeing of our community.

Junior and Senior Sports Star of the Year Award

The Junior and Senior Sports Star of the Year Awards are supported by Bendigo Bank, Belgravia Leisure and the Shire of York. Please nominate your club star!

Nominations for all awards must be received by Monday  31 October 2021 to be eligible for consideration.
