Special Council Meeting - 13 January 2026 - CEO Recruitment Process

A Special Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 13 January 2026 in the Council Chambers, First Floor York Town Hall, Joaquina Street, York commencing at 3.30pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to consider the:
- Appointment of the Independent Member to the CEO Selection Panel
- Appointment of HR Facilitator – RFQ10-2526 – Provision of Consultancy Services to Facilitate the Recruitment and Selection of a Chief Executive Officer
The meeting will be closed to the public during consideration of those reports in accordance with Sections 5.23(a) and (c) of the Local Government Act 1995 as it deals with the personal affairs of any person (Item 8.1) and a contract which may be entered into by the local government (Item 8.2).
