Lead by Judy Rogers, the Art of Portraiture workshop is suitable for beginner and experienced artists. Small groups of students will be guided by Judy whose passion for portraiture drives her successful visual art practice.
Participants will learn the principles and techniques of life-like portrait drawing. Through detailed observational sketches, they will establish a good understanding of proportions, facial features, expressions and how to make the subject look three-dimensional. About Judy Rogers
Judy’s artwork spans between intricate mixed media works and public sculpture. She takes on a wide range of techniques from the ultra-traditional to the cutting-edge contemporary. She is an award-winning Australian artist whose prizes include the ANZAC art commission by the City of Wanneroo in 2015 and, in 2016, she represented Australia at the G20 Art agenda at Hangzhou China. Her artworks can be found in prestigious international public and private collections.
