Holy Trinity Open Day

A very special opportunity to see the historic Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Admire the beautiful Robert Juniper stained glass windows and what is believed to be the last 1898 Albert Pease pipe organ in use in Australia. Delicious teas and bell ringing demonstrations are included.

Holy Trinity Church in York is one of the oldest Anglican churches in Western Australia.  This historic church was built using handmade bricks in 1854 and sits amidst picturesque grounds overlooking the Avon River, which can be crossed nearby on York’s unique swing bridge.  The building is an excellent example of Victorian Romanesque style architecture and its red bricks harmonise with the scenic countryside of York.  Normally only open for Church services, the entry fee includes morning or afternoon tea and there will be bell ringing demonstrations at 11.30am and 2.30pm.  All funds raised go towards the upkeep of the Holy Trinity Church.
