Dear community changemakers,
The Wheatbelt Development Commission and the Shire of York, in partnership with Lotterywest, are pleased to invite local community organisations, not-for-profits, charities and community-led initiatives across the Wheatbelt to a series of free, practical Impact Café workshops.
These sessions are designed to help groups strengthen their projects, clarify their impact, and build confidence when preparing grant, funding, sponsorship and partnership applications.
Whether you’re developing a new idea, responding to a local need, or refining an existing project, these workshops are practical, hands-on and suitable for groups at any stage.
Please book into the session closest / most convenient for your organisation.
📍 York
NB: These workshops are suitable for not-for-profits and community groups working across a wide range of sectors, including (but not limited to): Arts and culture; mental health and wellbeing; youth and families; community development; environment and sustainability; inclusion and diversity; and crisis support.
Local businesses and other organisation types are welcome to attend, as the learnings are largely grants‑agnostic. Please note, however, that only LGAs and not‑for‑profits are eligible for Lotterywest funding specifically.
Please feel free to share this invitation with other community members, volunteers, or partner organisations who may benefit.
We hope to see you there.
