Join Michael Alvares of Kite Kinetics for a kite flying demonstration and kitemaking workshop. Michael developed his passion for kites as a child growing up in India, and after completing studies in graphic design, honed his skills in kite design and kite making. He uses innovative teaching and learning approaches to promote the understanding of the mythology, aerodynamics and cultural history of kites. Michael regularly travels overseas and has represented Australia at International Kite Festivals in over 30 countries.
