Shire of York Media Release 19 November 2018

HAVE YOUR SAY ABOUT THE SHIRE OF YORK

All residents, ratepayers and business owners over the age of 18 in the Shire of York are encouraged to have their say about the Shire of York in its second biennial community survey.

“The survey is an opportunity to have your say on how the Shire is performing, identify priority areas and generally provide feedback on the organisation” Shire President Cr Wallace said.

“We have made some good progress in the last two years, but we are keen to keep improving and responding to the issues and concerns of the community and this survey is a great way to let us know what you are thinking.”  Shire President Cr Wallace said.

Written surveys will be distributed to every household and post office box in the Shire this week. Alternatively, to save on postage and handling costs we encourage you to complete the survey on line by going to the following link www.catalyse.com.au/studies Alternative formats are available upon request.

CATALYSE, an independent company, will once again be undertaking the survey for the Shire and they will treat all responses confidentially.

The results of this survey will again be presented to Council and available on the Shire’s website and at the Shire Offices.

Shire President Cr David Wallace encourages everyone to take a few minutes to complete the survey and provide valuable feedback to the Council.

Surveys need to be completed either online or in hard copy and returned using the reply-paid envelope to CATALYSE by Friday 7 December 2018.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact the Shire on 9641 2233.
