The Shire of York is pleased to inform the community that Chris Gibbs has responded and accepted the position of councillor-elect, filling the vacancy left by the resignation of Councillor Blake Luxford. A special council meeting will be held on Tuesday, 9 April 2024, in the Council Chambers at 4pm to swear in the new councillor. The special council meeting is open to members of the public, and those interested are encouraged to attend.
