Online Form - Best Decorated Business Entry Form

Registrations are now open for the 2022 Best Decorated Business Competition, encouraging local businesses to add decorative interest to their shopfronts, window displays or interiors this Christmas period. Create something with visual impact that uses colour, incorporates your street frontage or partner with neighbouring businesses for bigger impact.

This year the Best Decorated Business Competition will include a Best Australian Themed category, the return of the popular public vote award and easy online registration forms. Public vote forms are also online and we encourage the community to get behind their favourite business display and vote as many times as you like. Judging commences 14 December with all finalists contacted to attend a short prize giving and photo opportunity at Council’s December meeting.

Best Decorated Business is a Shire business iniative delivered in partnership with York Business Association.

Terms & Conditions            

1. Registration closes 2pm Monday 5 December 2022
2. My Business as included on this entry form will display all associated decorations throughout the Christmas period up until January 2023
3. My Business is located in the Shire of York
4. I understand judging commences from Thursday 15 December
5. Finalists will be contacted to attend the 20 December Ordinary Council Meeting for a prize giving presentation and photo opportunity.
6. Prize money offered is as stated;

1^st Prize $500 cash & Business name included on the perpetual trophy
2^nd Prize $250 cash
Public vote - $150 cash
Best Australian Themed Display - $100 cash

The Shire will pay monies via electronic funds transfer directly to the businesses following the prize giving presentation at the 20 December Ordinary Council Meeting
