Council Chambers Access Guide with Shire President Cr Chris Gibbs

Published on Wednesday, 20 May 2026 at 10:44:13 AM

Are you planning to attend an upcoming Agenda Briefing or Ordinary Council Meeting?

In this quick video, Shire President Cr Chris Gibbs takes us on a step-by-step walk-through to show exactly where community members go when visiting Council Chambers.

Because our formal meetings take place outside of regular office hours, the front doors to the Town Hall are closed.

Watch the video to see:

📍 Where to enter via the rear stairs located between the Shire Administration office and the Town Hall.

♿ Accessibility options, including the location of the elevator for community members who need to avoid the stairs.

👥 Our overflow system, ensuring extra seating and clear audio/video setups are ready for high-interest community topics.

🎤 The public gallery and podium, so you know exactly where to sit and how to ask questions during public question time.

As a reminder, our monthly meeting cycles commence at 5:00 PM on the third and fourth Tuesday of every month.

We encourage all residents to come along, stay informed, and be an active part of our local decision-making process.
