Notice of Special Council Meeting - Swearing in of Councillors-elect & election of Shire President & Deputy Shire President

In accordance with Section 5.5(2) of the Local Government Act 1995 notice is hereby given that a Special Council Meeting will be held on Monday 20 October 2025 in the Council Chambers, First Floor York Town Hall, Joaquina Street, York commencing at 8.30am.

The purpose of the meeting is to:

1. Swear in the Councillors-elect
2. Elect the Shire President and Deputy Shire President

The Agenda is available on the Shire’s website HERE or from the Administration Office prior to the meeting.

The Special Council Meeting is open to members of the public and those interested are encouraged to attend.
