Road Closure Notice – Avon Terrace
Date: Saturday, 6 December
Time of Road Closure: 2.30pm – 9.30pm
Location: Avon Terrace, between Macartney Street and South Street
The Shire of York wishes to advise residents and business owners that Avon Terrace will be closed to all vehicle traffic during the above times to support the YORKristmas event.
Event Details – YORKristmas
Event time: 4.00pm – 8.00pm
Location: Avon Terrace
The road closure period allows for safe set-up and pack-down of the event.
Important – Vehicle Removal Required
All vehicles must be vacated from the Avon Terrace strip prior to 2.30pm on Saturday, 6 December.
Any vehicles remaining in the closure area after this time may be subject to relocation.
Access & Impact
Pedestrian access will remain available throughout the closure.
Traffic management will be in place to assist with detours and ensure safe circulation around the event site.
Businesses are encouraged to inform staff, suppliers
and customers of the temporary closure.
