The York Show Colouring Competition is now open!

You may be eligible to be enrolled to vote in the local government elections on 18 October 2025 if you live in or are an owner or occupier of rateable property in the Shire of York.

A Special Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 12 August 2025 in the Council Chambers, First Floor York Town Hall, Joaquina Street, York commencing at 5.00pm.

The York Bowling Club has officially signed a lease to manage the York Recreation and Convention Centre (YRCC) Bar and Function area.

The Shire of York marked Australia Day 2025 with a fantastic day of free community events on Sunday, 26 January

In accordance with Section 5.5(2) of the Local Government Act 1995 notice is hereby given that a Special Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 28 January 2025 in the Council Chambers, First Floor York Town Hall, Joaquina Street, York commencing at 5.00pm.

The next scheduled culling session will take place on Sunday, 12 January 2025, starting at 6:30 AM.

This year there is a full program of free activities for the York community to share and enjoy on Sunday 26 January 2025.
